What is an adjustment?

A chiropractic adjustment is a safe, painless and non-invasive procedure in which chiropractors use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled force to a spinal joint. It helps to improve spinal motion and helps to improve the body’s physical function. Sometimes when an adjustment is performed you will hear an audible crack or pop. This cracking or popping sound is a release of a bubble of gas between the joints as they gap.

What is Dry Needling?

Dry needling is a treatment designed to ease muscular pain. During dry needling the practitioner inserts very fine needles into your skin. The needles are inserted into areas of tight knotted muscles and/or around areas of tight knotted muscles. The insertion of the needles causes a small histamine reaction which then encourages an increase in blood flow to the area. The new fresh blood brings oxygen and nutrients to the muscles which in turn promotes healing.
